Robert L. Gershon has over 30 years of experience directing world-leading medical companies.
Chief Financial Officer
Christophe Lamboeuf has more than 25 years of experience in financial management and executive positions.
Prior to joining Mauna Kea Technologies, Christophe Lamboeuf served as the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Intrasense, a French publicly-traded company developing a medical imaging visualization and analysis software suite. He was involved in a number of capital raises following the company’s initial public offering in 2012. He also has experience working with General Electric, Ricoh, CS Telecom and Toshiba. Christophe is a chartered accountant and holds an advanced degree (DESS) in Finance from the IAE Graduate School of Management and a Master in Economics.
Chief Marketing Officer
Jack McCarthy is an accomplished senior executive with more than 20 years of success in the medical device industry.
Leveraging extensive experience rapidly commercializing new technologies and products, Jack brings broad areas of expertise to Mauna Kea, including his strategic agility building sales and marketing teams, start-up medical device companies, business development and licensing, healthcare policy and coverage, brand strategy, brand management, product development and launches, new market penetration, clinical trial development, and international market development. Throughout his executive career, Jack has held leadership positions at Covidien (now Medtronic), Bovie Medical (now Apyx Medical), and Z-Medica. Jack earned his MBA in Marketing and BBA in Marketing from Loyola University Maryland.
Aline Criton, Ph.D.
Regulatory and Clinical Affairs and Scientific Communication Director
Aline has more than 20 years of international experience in research and development of medical devices with 12 patents obtained in the field of medical imaging.
Her career began in the United States as a research engineer at ATL Ultrasound and then as project manager at Philips Healthcare for 12 years. She then held the position of R&D Director of the imaging department at SuperSonic Imagine until the end of 2011 and managed clinical research and collaborative research programs until the end of 2016. Aline holds a master’s degree in physics from the École Centrale de Marseille, a master’s degree in medical imaging from Compiègne University of Technology and a Ph.D. in medical physics from the University of Edinburgh, UK.
Véronique Dentant, Ph.D.
Director of Operations
Véronique has invaluable experience in R&D, product design and engineering management on innovative products.
She began her carreer at the Thales Central Laboratory, first as a research engineer, then as Head of the Organic Materials laboratory. Véronique then went to Photonetics, a telecom company sold to GN NetTest in 2000, where she worked as Chief Technical Officer setting up and developping the R&D and engineering departments for Optical Components. Before joining Mauna Kea Technologies, Veronique also spent two years at IXsea, a French Company specialized in fiber-optics based inertial sensors where she was responsible for the OCTANS gyrocompass product line. Véronique is a graduate of the École Supérieure d'Optique in France and holds a Ph.D. in Non-Linear Optics.
Marion Ghibaudo Ph.D.
Director of R&D
Marion is passionate about managing multidisciplinary technical teams with a results-oriented approach.
Marion joined Mauna Kea Technologies in 2018 from the L’Oréal Group’s Advanced Research Department, where she successfully led multinational projects and multidisciplinary teams as Group Leader. Through combining her expertise in biology, physics, and technology she has successfully led projects such as the Mechanobiology project, exploring unknown territory in cosmetics, and launching the Smart Profile Uplift project with Clarisonic 2017.
Marion is a graduate of École Polytechnique and holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Paris-Diderot University.
François Lacombe, Ph.D.
Chief Scientific Officer
François is a world-renowned scientist and the author of more than 150 scientific papers and 10 patents.
François spent 14 years working on major international astronomy projects such as ISOCAM, the Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) satellite's on-board camera; ADONIS, the first multi-user adaptive optics system on the Canada-France-Hawaii-Telescope and NAOS, a cutting-edge adaptive optics system for the Very Large Telescope on Cerro Paranal in Chile. François has been collaborating with Mauna Kea Technologies since its inception and has been its Chief Scientific Officer since 2005. François is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure in Paris and holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics.
Vice President of U.S. Sales
Cameron Lee is an accomplished medical sales management executive with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
With his proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies and achieving revenue goals, Cam brings a deep history of sales leadership experience to Mauna Kea. Throughout his career, Cam has focused his energy on guiding his teams to meet or exceed their goals through strategic selling best practices, field coaching, and insight-driven customer engagements. Prior to joining Mauna Kea, Cam held positions of increased responsibility at Pentax Medical Company and Trinity Western University. Cam earned his MA from the University of British Columbia and his BA from Trinity Western University.
Vice-President, International Sales
Bruno has a rich, international background garnered from his studies in Lebanon, Italy and France where he became fluent in four languages.
Bruno started his career as an Export Area Manager for Sapag, a division of Saint-Gobain, then worked 15 years for Tyco Fire & Building Products where he was appointed General Manager of Asia-Pacific. In January of 2009, Bruno joined Mauna Kea Technologies with a mission to develop the Asia-Pacific market for Cellvizio.
Bruno is responsible for sales of Cellvizio products in all territories outside the United-States: EMEA, APAC and LATAM.
