Albert Waxman, Chairman of the Board
In 1998, Dr. Waxman founded Psilos, an investment company specialized in healthcare, with offices in New York, the San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Fe. Before founding Psilos, he was most recently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Merit Behavioral Care and its predecessor companies, American Biodyne and Medco Behavioral Care, where he achieved very successful financial operations. Prior to American Biodyne, Dr. Waxman founded and served as President, Chairman and CEO of Diasonics, Inc., one of the first medical companies to provide ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging in the U.S. Dr. Waxman holds several U.S. and foreign patents for display, imaging and diagnostic technologies and products. He has also been instrumental in the start-up and success of several other healthcare companies throughout his career.
Through his activities at Psilos, Dr. Waxman is chairman and/or a director of several Psilos companies. In addition to his current Psilos responsibilities, Dr. Waxman serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the New York City Investment Fund.
Dr. Waxman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the City College of New York and Master and Doctoral degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Princeton University.

Sacha Loiseau, Ph.D., Member of the Board
After graduating from the École Polytechnique, Sacha started his carreer at the National Center for Space Studies (CNES) in Toulouse and at the Paris Observatory, where he acquired a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and Astronomical Instrumentation summa cum laude. Sacha then collaborated as a scientist at the Harvard Center for Astrophysics as well as at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, which he joined later as a member of the Interferometry Center of Excellence. He worked on one of NASA’s cornerstone space missions. After a few years at JPL, he moved back to Paris in 2000 to found Mauna Kea Technologies.

Bruno Donville, Member of the Board
Aged 46, Bruno Donville has been running the investment company CreAdev since its inception in 2002. After graduating from both Sciences-Po in Paris and HEC management school, Bruno began his career as a real estate broker. He moved on to corporate finance matters within a construction group and then in a British Investment Bank. In 1998, Bruno took over, with an associate, a French SME with 100 employees, specialized in cosmetics, in a difficult situation, and was joined by a private equity fund. In addition to MKT's, Bruno is an active boardmember of various businesses, including energy, retirement homes, B2B services and retail. Bruno represents CreAdev, a fund controlled by one of the largest French entrepreneurial family

David Eichler, Member of the Board
Mr. Eichler joined Psilos in April 1999 and has focused on investments in the healthcare services and medical technology areas. He works directly with many Psilos investments as an advisor on finance, strategy and business development, including recently as Acting Chief Financial Officer of Caregiver Services, Inc. He also has extensive experience as an advisor to senior management and boards of directors on M&A, financial restructuring and capital raising transactions.
Prior to joining Psilos, Mr. Eichler was an investment banker at Wasserstein Perella & Co., where he worked on numerous mergers and acquisitions and restructuring assignments as a member of the firm's Healthcare Group.
Mr. Eichler earned an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, where he received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence (top 10% of class). He holds another masters degree in National Security Studies from Georgetown University and an undergraduate degree in Government and International Relations from Cornell University, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Pascal Girin, Member of the Board
Pascal Girin, 48, brings 20 years of experience in the development, marketing and sales of medical devices to the board of Mauna Kea Technologies. Since July 2005, M. Girin has been serving as President, International of ev3, a leading worldwide medical device company one hundred percent focused on catheter-based or endovascular technologies for the minimally invasive treatment of vascular disease and disorders. Prior to this position, Mr. Girin served as General Manager, Europe of ev3, since September 2003. From September 1998 to August 2003, Mr. Girin served in various capacities at BioScience Europe Baxter Healthcare Corporation, most recently as Vice President. Mr. Girin received an Engineering Education at the French Ecole des Mines.
