Today, we are actively recruiting our :

Image Processing Research Scientist

Paris

 

At the heart of our R&D team, you will ensure prototype and algorithm development to be integrated into our next generation product. You will also collaborate with our image computing team to propose innovative solutions while maintaining connections to the external research community through publication and leadership of academic and industrial research communities.

 

Your mission:

You will be a real team player and solution finder in image processing and algorithms, you will:

  • Challenge the image processing team to think outside the box.

  • Participate in the development of our next generation confocal endomicroscope (Cellvizio) plus its new hardware technology.

  • Work closely with the Research, Innovation and Development Teams, who are experts in software, physics, optics, electronics and micro-mechanics.

  • Propose and implement cutting edge concepts and algorithms     from image processing to computer aided diagnosis.    

  • Nurture the rich scientific ecosystem that lies at the heart of MKT through computer vision, machine learning and deep     learning.

  • As part of the scientific team of the company, you will     participate to world-leading conferences like MICCAI (Medical Image     Computing and Computer Assisted Interventions Conference).

 

Your profile :

  • You should have a rigorous educational background

  • You have previously published articles that will act as a reference for your work    

  • You will not be scared of a challenge (to go beyond the success of our most published paper "Non-parametric     diffeomorphic image registration with demons algorithm", 2007, mentioned more than 330 times!)

You’ll also have :

  • Ph.D background specialised in image processing

  • At least 3 years’ experience obtained preferably in industry.

  • A passion for software development and applied mathematics

  • Ease in using Matlab or Python (numpy, scipy...)

  • A love in developing  C++ whilst using the latest techniques     

  • Ease with working in French    

  • Good communication skills
