The Cellvizio® product family, in part derived from technology developed for astrophysics, are dedicated to fibered confocal microscopy or confocal endoscopy applications.
Our products complement the imaging technologies you use every day by bridging the gap between macroscopic imaging (MRI, CT, PET, cytometrics, bioluminescence, fluorescence tomography, high-resolution ultrasound, SPECT, traditional endoscopy) and conventional microscopic techniques.
Cellvizio®'s reusable confocal miniprobes for endoscopy or small animal imging are available in a variety of models, each perfectly adapted to the specific conditions found in different types of subjects and the target system to be imaged. Because they only house the imaging objective, keeping the scanning and imaging functions outside of the subject's organism, our confocal fibered microscopes are extraordinarily thin and remarkably flexible. They provoke no damage to surrounding tissue when used correctly via the endoscope or bronchoscope, and cause little or no damage when used as directed in laboratory animal subjects.

* The Cellvizio®-GI system is a confocal laser imaging system with fiber optics that is intended to allow confocal laser imaging of the internal microstructure of tissues in the anatomical tract, i.e., gastrointestinal or pulmonary, accessed by the endoscope. Ths system is applied when indications consistent with the requirements for the procedure are observed in adult and pediatric patient populations.
