DDW 2009 marked another important milestone for probe-based Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy (pCLE) and for Cellvizio.
The Cellvizio blimp flew high over our booth, as our international team welcomed constant visits from leading physicians around the world.
We were excited to hear about our customers' promising pCLE projects and to discuss new partnerships with others.
Please find below an update about new Cellvizio users and initiatives.
We wish you all a very sunny summer and look forward to helping you build the field of pCLE.

34 Cellvizio Studies Presented
|
Through 34 presentations and posters on specific Cellvizio studies and more than 50 communications on Confocal
Laser Endomicroscopy, key opinion leaders from many countries expressed the usefulness and importance
of our product. Importantly, a growing body of data shows that Cellvizio can effectively rule out early esophageal cancer.
|
|
About half of the scientific communications were reported by US based physicians,
and there were almost as many oral presentations as posters.
Colon and esophageal applications accounted for almost half of all studies presented.
