In Vivo Microscopic Imaging of Transgenic Animals
Transgenic animals offer tremendous possibilities for in situ imaging, combining the best of genetic technologies and in vivo microscopic imaging with the Cellvizio.
Four different trangenic models are presented here, in the following order:
- the Thy1-YFP mouse: YFP expression in the PNS and subsets of the CNS
- the CamKinase-GFP mouse: GFP expression in some neuronal subsets
- the CNPase-GFP mouse: GFP oligodendrocytes and Schwan cells
- the Nagy mouse: ubiquitous GFP expression in various organs and muscles
