Plants

Most plants can easily be imaged at 488 nm because they are autofluorescent for this wavelength. The images below include both examples of plant autofluorescence as well as detection of GFP in transgenic species.

The Cellvizio® can be used to image and screen plants on site and can be useful especially for structures that are not easily accessible with other techniques, like roots.
