Mauna Kea Technologies is a global medical device company dedicated to the advent of optical biopsy.

We research, develop and market innovative tools to visualize and detect cellular abnormalities during endoscopic procedures. Our flagship product, Cellvizio®, a probe-based Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy (pCLE) system, provides physicians and researchers high-resolution cellular views of tissue inside the body. Large, international, multicenter clinical trials have demonstrated Cellvizio's ability to help physicians more accurately detect early forms of disease and make treatment decisions immediately. More than a hundred hospitals in the US have adopted Cellvizio for various clinical indications.

Today, we actively recruit a

Area Sales Representative 

North East Region

 

Key missions :

  • Own end-to-end selling by creating, attracting, nurturing and converting sales leads

  • Schedule traveling out "in the field" to meet with clients in person

  • Develop strong relationships with key interventionists : Gastroenterologists, Surgeons, Pathologists, Physicians

  • Obtain clinical validation from physicians and financial validation from hospital administrators

  • Set-up hands-on demonstrations at expert centers to foster doctor-to-doctor interaction

  • Participate in conferences and industry meetings to strengthen relationships with opinion leaders and users of our product.

  • Provide market data and competitors information

  • Ensure regular reporting of sales and activities through the company CRM tool

 
Profile and experience

You have a business or medical degree, and a minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position for a medical device company, with proven experience in placing technical and innovative products in hospitals and private clinics through consignment or rental programs.

You also have experience with reimbursement issues, clinical and business value propositions, and ideally, clinical sales experience in general, foregut, surgical endoscopy, colorectal and GI surgery.

Your extensive database of key contacts in hospitals and private clinics, your strong salesmanship and your stellar interpersonal skills will be essential to your success.

This position requires a reasonable amount of overnight travel.
